​2024 Under 16 Hockey Festival/Tournament

The u16 Tournament is an opportunity for players to finish the season in style, allowing them to play and test themselves against teams from the Northern region area.

Team Selection

The Tournament has opportunities for players of all abilities. Tauranga Hockey is intending to send teams for the following grades.

11-a-side selected competitive teams for year 10/11 students

11-a-side and 5-aside mixed ability teams for Year 10/11 students

5-a-side year 9/10 teams.

* Year 12 students who turn 16 on or after January 1 2023 will be considered for this Tournament on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility

The Northern Region Tournament is open to all players in year 9/10/11 who are under 16 on or after the 1st of January 2024

* Year 12 students who turn 16 on or after January 1 2024 will be considered for this Carnival on a case by case basis.
