On behalf of the Tauranga Hockey Association it is my pleasure to welcome all the teams, officials and visitors to Tauranga for the Chica Gilmer Trophy Tournament 2025. 

We are excited to be hosting this tournament, and we are working hard behind the scenes to ensure your time with us is an awesome experience.

RESTAURANTS
These are some of the restaurants that have indicated they can cater for teams and will provide menus that are suitable. Please give them a call to discuss your requirements.​​​​​​​

FOOD TRUCKS / LOCAL CATERERS

We are currently confirming food trucks on site and have requested menus from local caterers who can provide lunch and dinner options.

Training Turf Bookings

School Tent / Marquees

If you are bringing a tent  / marquee please let Megan know so a spot can be assigned - gm@tgahockey.co.nz.

Tournament Directors Office

The TD office will be located in the portacom on the left just as you enter the main gates.

Parking

There are a large number of car parks in close vicinity of the venue so no issue there for you all – and they are all free of charge as well! There will be separate team-van parking signposted.

Traffic

Tauranga Hockey Centre is positioned on the tip of a peninsula, alongside a major port and industrial area (zig-zagged with train lines), as well as a buzzing city centre.

Please ensure you leave ample time to navigate traffic, especially for the first and last games of the day, and around school pick-up and drop off times.
