What is PlayHQ?
Hockey New Zealand have introduced a nationwide membership and competition platform provided by PlayHQ. Tauranga Hockey last year launched PlayHQ for all club player registrations. This year we are excited to be using it for all player registrations not just club players, which includes our school players (from Mini Sticks through to Secondary).
Tauranga Hockey will also be using PlayHQ for our Club draws.
If you are a player and don't have a PlayHQ account, then you will need to create a PlayHQ account and then register directly with your school or club for the 2023 season.
Information and Support
- HNZ have launched the dedicated webpage for PlayHQ on their website, (https://hockeynz.co.nz/play-hq/) where you will be able to find resources, training videos and the latest news. There is also a FAQ section with some of your most asked questions.
- HNZ have also set up a new support platform, Zendesk, (https://hockeynewzealand.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) to enable a smooth flow of support. This will also enable us to seamlessly escalate support tickets to PlayHQ if necessary.
