Tauranga Hockey Centenary - Friday Evening

Tauranga Hockey celebrated its centenary on the weekend of 16 – 18 October. The weekend kicked off with a social event on Friday night where people from across the ages came together on a sunny evening at the turfs to renew friendships and walk around the pavilion studying all the memorabilia and photos on display. Different people’s contributions to hockey over the years could be seen in articles and newsletters and photo montages.
